devil's food cake
A new chocolate cake recipe! It's supposed to be moister. Two layers of devil's food cake with raspberry jam and glazed with chocolate.
Oh, and if the cakes look smaller, they are! I'm now experimenting with 6 inch pans. Cute is the new cake.

I liked the cake overall but was surprised to read you put in some raspberry jam. I couldn't really taste it but that was going to be my suggestion. The cake was moist but there was this weird occassional crunchiness. Not sure where that was from. I am happy to volunteer for further testing.
